Minnesota's Legacy

Watch the Progress

In 2008, Minnesota's voters passed the Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment. The Amendment increased the state sales tax in order to  improve drinking water, habitats, arts and cultural heritage, parks and trails, lakes, rivers, streams, and groundwater.

Now, Minnesotans can track how those dollars are spent. We worked with the Legislative Coordinating Commission and numerous state agencies to design and build a new site that helps citizens monitor how funds are being invested in their communities.

We also developed an API (Application Programming Interface) which enables numerous state agencies and organizations to seamlessly update the website from their own systems.

In 2014 we updated the website with a responsive design, improvements to navigation, and expanded filtering options on the projects page.
