Most organizations have websites these days; we're generally replacing something that already exists but just doesn't cut it. Nevertheless, many of these same websites have some amount of existing information that needs to be transferred from an old system to a new one. Sometimes this involves the writing of custom import routines and other times it involves decidedly low-tech methods (moving the content via cut-and-paste and/or training a budget-conscious client to do the same).
