Back-end Drupal Developer

Location: Eagan, MN (On-Site)
Type: Full-Time

We are a boutique web development firm located in Minnesota. We plan, design, and build websites and web applications for really awesome clients located in both the region and across the nation. We make good organizations even better; our work is focused around helping nonprofits realize their mission and advance their cause.

We are looking for an experienced Drupal Developer with serious chops and specifically someone who wants to geek out on integrations, migrations, custom modules, and more. We’d like you to round out our development team by focusing on the back-end of our Drupal sites.

Qualified candidates will be proficient in Drupal and related technologies; PHP, MySQL, REST, SOLR, etc. The candidate should be familiar with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, and JS.

A successful candidate will like to work both as part of a team as well as independently. We have a small top-notch development team that shares ideas, works through problems together, but also pulls their own weight. We are looking for someone that wants to make a big impact within that team while being open to learning from others.

Responsibilities

  • Translate specifications produced during the discovery and design phases into a working application
  • Implement requirements and develop functionality without overbuilding
  • Use Feeds and Migrate to import content into new sites
  • Map and connect various systems to Drupal
  • Write new Drupal modules as needed
  • Maintain existing systems and websites
  • Assist clients in setting up server environments
  • Stay on top of new technologies and tools
  • Manage assigned tasks within provided budgets and timelines

Qualifications

  • Work on-site at our office in Eagan, MN
  • Display strong communication skills when working with coworkers and clients
  • Work both independently and as part of our team
  • Willingness to grow from team and client feedback
  • Hold a high standard of quality for your work
  • 2+ years of Drupal web development experience
  • Experience with systems integration
  • Experience with PHP, MySQL, REST, HTML, XML and other web languages
